1. To formulate rules and regulations regarding hostels for students.

2. To receive, investigate, select and approve applications for residence from students.

3. To promote the welfare of the resident students.

4. To make recommendations regarding major repairs and alterations and purchase of furniture.
5. To administer the use of the facilities during vacations.
6. To formulate rules and regulations governing hostels and other College facilities when used by outsiders.
7. To supervise resident associations through Wardens in the management of the hostel.
