Taitung Community Service-Learning Programme

2023/24 Term 1

Objectives

．To cultivate a sense of community service in Chung Chi students;

．To provide students with opportunities to get in touch with different segments of society, broadening their horizons, and strengthening their critical thinking on social issues; and

．To provide students with opportunities to further develop personal growth and enhance social skills through reflective journals, evaluation meetings, and discussions in seminars.

Eligibility

．Students who will promote to Year 3 or above in 2023/2024; OR

．Senior year entrants students who will promote to Year 2 or above in 2023/2024

Themes of Service-Learning

1. Know about the community work and the network of social enterprise in Taitung;

2. Preserve the traditional culture and address the community needs through social innovation; and

3. Promote sustainable development of the local industry with local innovative elements.

Schedule

Tentative Fee and Deposit

HKD$5,500 | Deposit of HKD$3,000 is refundable upon completion of programme; in case of withdrawal from the programme, the deposit will not be refunded.
