Broadening your horizon and stretching beyond your reach are important elements of college life. At Chung Chi, students can participate in different activities to explore the many possibilities of life, to explore their ideals and goals and to adventure out of their comfort zone. Activities that share similar objectives of Chung Chi General Education and foster thinking and learning from multiple perspectives are recognized as “Alternative Activities to Assembly” (AAA). Students can obtain an Assembly attendance record by completion of a recognized AAA.
 

The College accepts the completion of at most ONE recognized Alternative Activity to Assembly each term as equivalent to an attendance record of College Assembly; the approved attendance record can count towards the attendance requirement of either the first or the second part of College Assembly at the same term of activity completion. Past recognized AAAs include Head’s Round Table Dinner, Designated Theatre Performance and the College Annual Education Conference. Prior registration is required due to limited quota.
