Dear children, dear parents, dear teachers and collaborators of the Italian International Nursery and Kindergarten in Hong Kong,

It is with great joy and emotion that I participate with this message at the opening of the new school year, to testify to you my closeness and my participation in this important occasion.

We are going through a complex period full of challenges, but it is precisely education and school that are called to create the conditions to offer new prospects for the future to all of us, guaranteeing competent and sensitive training and learning environments for children and young people.

Reggio Children's commitment to supporting quality educational experiences, such as the Italian International Nursery and Kindergarten, continues with increasing enthusiasm, in the name of the right of every child to a school that, as Loris Malaguzzi said, "enhances their to socialize, gathering affection and trust and satisfying his need and desire to learn".
