To support our school’s project learning, a visit to the South Horizons Park was arranged for all our K1 pupils on Thursday 20th of May, the K1 students got the exciting opportunity to explore our schools neighbourhood park to see what kind of fun activities we can do in the great outdoors.
The pupils were all given a nature hunt activity sheet, to look and find these various things within their natural habitat and also collected ten leaves with different shapes, sizes and patterns. Other than that, they were also challenged with their ability to identify and compare the park with their own community park.
Thank you to all the parents that volunteered for the adventure, this is a great transition between our current theme 'Community - Our Community helpers' and the next theme 'Nature!'.
