1. | S1 and S2 Tiered Curriculum To cater for the various needs and abilities of the students, a tiered curriculum has been exercised in the S1 and S2 English curriculum of our school. All students have to study a core curriculum. For more capable students, they have to study an extended curriculum (B2) while the weaker students study a foundation curriculum (B1). |
2. | Senior Form Curriculum English is one of the four core subjects which students must study from Form 4 to Form 6. There are four sets of paper to be examined, namely reading, writing, listening and speaking. Apart from these papers, there is also a School-based Assessment (SBA). Students have to do at least two assessments in Form 5 and 6. |
3. | Native English Teacher To arouse students’ interest and to widen their horizon in English learning, our school has a native English teacher. He is mainly responsible for the speaking lessons from Secondary One to Six. Besides, he is also responsible for the English Corner where he meets students regularly after school. He plays language games, read books and sing with the students there. The purpose is to let students enjoy English and find the fun of it. |
